I don't go overboard on the descriptions, and quite a few of them are books/dvds so there is some pre filled info there.
Must say, it did take quite some time, but its worth it when the money starts coming in! Biggest motivation is when there is half price listing days as obviously want to get as much done as possible on them to cut costs.
Also, not taking loads of pictures has helped me cut down the time it takes, I used to take some from different angles etc and then upload to photobucket and link in, which can take an age in itself, but where possible, I've stuck to one picture and just used the ebay facility seen as 1st picture is free.
Oh, and some of them were relists which is a simple click of the button!
I am just addicted to ebay really, I feel 'lost' when I am not selling something.0 -

Anyone got a link to that spreadsheet being talked about in this thread? I am currently selling things on eBay and it will be handy to track the amount of money I am making.

Apologies if you tackled this subject days ago ..but I think sellers really lose out from the new feedback system.
Since the introduction -- I have less and less feedback - even tho I send the day after I am paid.. and I take pride in my service!!.
I have non-payers for the first time and a new generation of really slow. is this just a blip or are others finding the same?0 -
OH yes for sure, very slow and even got a OTT complaint too - not sure how much longer I can be bothered with Ebay if this keeps upLBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

I'm in 2 minds re the new feedback system, in some ways I think its good as when I am buying, if I receive poor service I can say so without risk of a neg, but it does mean that buyers have sellers over a barrell and can pretty much do anything unreasonable and get away with it.
I've found that when buying, sellers are leaving feedback straight away rather than after I have left feedback which used to be the case, especially with powersellers and their automated feedback systems. I imagine this is in attempt to get you to leave them feedback.
Most sellers have been leaving me feedback though, I've sold loads since the changes and I bet only half a dozen have failed to leave any feedback.0 -
I can only echo the posts above, and agree with you. I am finding less buyers are leaving feedback, but the ones not leaving feedback are also the ones that have low feedback numbers for themselves, ie newbie ebays with feedbacks of less than 100.
Cannot say that it is really affecting me, just slightly annoying, as I like to know when an item has arrived safely.:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j
