  • hi everyone....

wooo - I am now up to the grand total of £7.79!

But I suppose I should look at it from the angle that it is amost £10.00 towards my target over 2 weeks!

Now if I could just go on ebay without look at thinks to buy I might get along better......

Thanks ooplah for the nudge :)

I managed to list 13 items in the end. Had to basically duplicate the same template because it was literally 5mins to midnight but then stayed up until 1.30am putting the right heading, text and images in. I have gone for 10 days for all items and my cheapest starts at £5 and the most expensive at £80. I hope I sell something!

What kind of things are you selling, don't want to try and be defeatest or anything but I tend to find that the start price can put people off, I tend to start all mine at 99p or even a 1p regardless of how much I think they are worth... Its a buyers market and if something is worth £80 then it will be bid upto £80 if you get my drift.

Also, listing at 5 to midnight, whilst saved you some listing fees may cost you bidders as people may not be awake that late on a Sunday night before work on a Monday morning to put in late bids, which always tend to push up the price more as people start a bidding war in the last few minutes of the auction.

Just a few things you might wanna bear in mind on next listings!

I ended up putting 33 items on last night, only 3 of which have not listed before. Some things are on the 4th listing now, so if they don't sell this time I will be putting them away in a box & then taking to a charity shop at some point or try AGAIN when its cheap listing. I clearly have unsellable tat!

I listed only 7 items yest, 4 went on a BIN and 3 have sold!! Two for £2.99 and one for £4.99 so really pleased with that so far. Not taken fees out yet, will do that when auction finished and update then.

Another £13.49 to add, I have also given out four second chance offers for £8 and over, I hope people take them up as that would really help to boost the total.

Okay, I am really going for it now. Have listed some more items last night and this morning. Can't believe how long the process is taking though. A tip for all gmail users, I have created public albums in google photos for all my listings and supplied a direct link in my ebay listing. That way lots of CD/DVD & bundles of clothes can be be displayed without paying ebay a penny!

IWantToBeFree, I am selling quite a lot of collector specific items and all of the latest ones I have listed have starting prices of up to £300 - and I am selling them cheap! These are the kind of items you have in your saved searches and rarely get alerts for so I have got lots of watchers already and fielding lots of questions from buyers so I am hopeful. I just hope I don't end up selling too much at a loss.
