Why do Argos hide the RO list?

I find it odd that items they are still trying to sell are shrouded in such mystery - does anybody know why this is?

it means either run out or run off list.

i think this list was originaly for the staff but was leaked to us by the legendary jon-c:D .the best bargains (75% off) were last october, now they seem to be trying to sell them on the website first with less knocked off.

hopefully by october they will be selling anything left over with big savings;)

RO means Running out!

As to why they hide the list is unknown. Probably so that the competition does not get hold of it and start competing with Argos.

Who is the competition these days anyway? Haven't Index gone bust? I don't think they hide it so much as the RO list is an internal company document that they have no obligation to disclose to the customer.

No it's not going to be Index but rather supermarkets like Tesco who are starting to cut their market share already

I can see what you mean raeble but its just that how are they going to sell them if no-one knows about them?

they dont give out R.O lists because they dont have one they can give out.
the stores will have their internal lists an stuff but thats for internal purposes. cant go givin that stuff out.

the stuff is in the sale flyers and clearance flyers. and the instore clearance browsers...

well my freindly manager gave me the ro list so they must have 1
now on its way to seaniboy co's i aint got time to post it all. not as good as last one

if they dont have a list check out stumpys site and have a think where all the info came from;)

they have lists but they are not specific R.o. lists as such which can be given out... some of the information on there is sensitive and cant be given away willy nilly

although head office may well have different lists
