Idling Problems - Honda Accord 1.8 vtec x reg.
Have a x-reg Honda Accord 1.8 vtec. It has been unused for 4 months. Once in a while the car is started now and then and driven around the block. The battery went flat few weeks ago. Just got around to putting in a new one. The car starts with no problems and drives without problems apart from when you rev the engine (in neutral) and lift your foot off the accelerator the engine rev drops down to zero and hence the engine stops. Any idea what the problem is?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Idle Control Valve probably gummed up. Also may be worth sticking some more petrol in as it does go off after a few months.0
