A wonderful improvement to the buying experience then....
eBay should get their own house in order before hammering the sellers.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Hi All, Glad I wasn't the only one it was driving me nuts, however it seems to have gone back to normal (hopefully it'll stay that way):j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :T0

Indeed, this new ebay search is a nightmare to try and find anything. Also the "best match" doesn't help. And clearing cookies/temp files etc seems to do the trick every now and then. If enough people complain as technical problems hopefullt someone might listen (but doubt it).0

Luckily I can still access the old version at home! Will have to stop viewing ebay at work

Hi All,
I'm so glad its not just me, I thought I was going mad!
I have 7 things listed for sale & when I do a search my listings arn't coming up! I emailed yesterday to complain & had answer back today which said that they had done a search & everything came up fine  . I tried again & still the same problem! Has anyone else found this? Also I listed some Versace trousers yesterday evening on a 5 day listing & still they arn't showing! It makes me really angry as I've lost a whole day.

I don't seem to have the new search layout appearing, which judging by the comments is probably a good thing

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
i had trouble searching for some of my own items. i have since realised when you search for an item that could be in a few different categories it automatically just shows you items in the category with most in, which may not include your items! (if that makes sense) i am convinced it has had an effect on my sales!
for example, i was looking for a t shirt/top for myself but the search just took me straight to the same type of t shirts in the mens category and did not show me any womens t shirts, i just presumed there were none listed until i noticed i was somehow looking in the mens clothing category when i had not selected it!
i hate it!0 -

George the pink has done his best to try to justify the changes, but is fighting a losing battle. If the search has to be explained in such detail, then it's unlikely that the average user will stick around long enough to work it out.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I emailed and got this reply
