Hello everyone , I'm new on here so hope this is in the right board, i have been discharged from bankruptcy for over 3 years. I do have a Yorkshire Bank account with Maestro card, my only problem I don't have a local Yorkshire bank.
So I've heard that LLTSB are providing a full Visa debit card with their basic account.
Has anyone who is discharged actually opened the account and received the Visa card?
Thanks
Bo

You might find that they will only offer you a cashpoint card in your circumstances. The bankruptcy will show on your credit files for 6 years.0

So they haven't removed the cashpoint from the basic account?
I might call in and see what they say.

I know that Clydesdale Readycash account cards work at the Post Office, for both cash credit and withdrawal. This may also be the case with the Yorkshire even though its not specifically advertised. Yorkshire bank is a sub-brand of Clydesdale bank.
Also, YB have internet banking as you may already know.
Just an thought if you have any problems with LTSB.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yes I do have the Yorkshire Bank account but there isn't a branch near now that I have moved, if I have an enquiry. Anyway, I'm going into LLTSB tomorrow, they have made me an appointment to see an adviser.
