Just copy the data across as an ISO that's all. Dont change it....0

depends on your cd writing software for detailed instructions, but, basically, create a new data disk (not audio!) drag the folders (with the mp3 files) into the new compilation, burn. depending upon the bitrate (quality) of the mp3s, usually 6-10 cds worth of music per disk, and no worries about getting original disks nicked!Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Easy...once you know how

Go to https://www.apple.com and download iTunes, it's nice and easy. Install it, Open it, then File - "Add folder to library..." and point it to where your music lives
then once it's finished importing, do File - "New Playlist" which will create a type of folder on the left hand side, then just drag your choices in to it.
Once you have all your tunes in there, you're ready to burn a disc. Read this to find out how to set up iTunes: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60924
Then put a blank disc in your drive, right click the playlist (folder) you created and click "burn playlist to disc"

As a follow up you can get lots of songs onto an MP3 CD, anywhere between 100 and 150 I think off the top of my head depending on sample rates (lower = smaller files but less quality).0

Personally I wouldn't bother with iTunes, as others have said just burn a data CD. You can use something like Nero. If your car will read WMA format tracks you'll get even more on.It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
as bill says, itunes is a waste of space (and memory, and disk space, and...)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

i believe you can use windows media player to burn a cd. so there is no need for downloading or buying any software. i cant take you through how to do it coz i use roxio which came with my pc. i am sure real player can be used to burn cds as well if you prefer useing real player to windows media player.
they are all pretty much the same i would guess. i think generally its a case of clicking to burn a data disc and then dragging across to it what you want and then clicking burn to cd. obviously at some stage a cd needs to be inserted but i am sure it will prompt you to do so at the correct point.
one thing to consider if you ever make a disc with different tracks from different folders is that if you want them in a certain order you need to number them or they will go into alphabetical order on the cd. just number them by putting 01, 02, 03 and so on at the beginning of the track title.0
