I have the same issues with SP and their meter readings a couple of years ago and switched from them because I was so fed up.
Last year I switched back to them but determined to enter my own meter readings on line monthly to ensure I didn't have this problem again. But low and behold I have even though I am telling them each month what my useage is and reminding them of the summer winter usage etc etc. Every month I enter the readings they suddenly want more money even though our usage is now reducing. Again they set the DD too low to start with, resulting is us owign them, however when I switched I got quotes based on usage pa not price paid.
Maybe I need to revisit and consider switching again?Working Hard to be Debt Free - one day :A soonDFW Long Hauler 74; Mortgage overpayments MFiT-2 challenger 100Total Nov07 £36000, Sep10 £1623:o:)0 -
I have been with sp for two years. I have dual fuel online with them on a direct debit. I submit my readings sometimes more than once a month, to keep it up to date and am always in credit. I build up the credit over summer to get me through winter and it always works. Just common sense really. Over pay to get through winter.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230
