Move and install a radiator

Hi,
We're replacing the radiator in our bathroom currently the bathrooms being done so no skirting, floorboards fully accessable etc.
The current pipes need to be moved out approx 3" each and the new radiator which we already have needs to be installed. Have been quoted £120 + VAT - Basically does this seem about right

Seems a bit on the dear side.. With it being a bathroom rad its not going to be a big rad so i would of thought that price would include him buying the rad
But there again depends where abouts you live in the country .. As im sure some plumbers think they have to buy gold tools :rotfl:(and no im not one of them lol)
Try and get the price of the rad knocked off or ask him to do it for £90/100 for cash0 -

Good morning: My OH prefers platinum equipment as gold is 1. too soft 2.every other plumber has gold...he likes to be a cut above:D
In answer to the OP... a plumber could quote half a day plus materials (not including the rad and TRV) and should add central heating inhibitor to the system. The price you have been quoted is what my OH would charge down here. Radiator replacement is not always as straight forward as it seems to the layperson.

Thanks both, we've had another quote and it's the same so I'm presuming it's correct and Canucklehead I've checked and both say they will be adding a central heating inhibitor to the system so I think all is good.
Thanks againYou laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0
