Major problems with my new MINT Card.

Hi guys long time reader first time poster.
SO i applied for a Mint Card 2 weeks ago and was accepted online and given a limit of £4k.
The reason for the application was to set up a a balance transfer on a large purchase which i hoped to clear in 6 months or so.
The balance transfer went through last week no problem.
I set up my online account no problem
I set up my direct debit no problem all last week.
Now the problems. I tried to access my online account on Sunday and it told me i was unable to access my account and contact MINT. I did so and the online desk couldnt help me. Told me to phone back yesterday.
I phoned and they couldnt help me and gave me a number to phone today.
I phone said number and it was the number to the IVA and bankruptcy department which was a MAJOR shock to me.
The man said that i have applied for an IVA agreement through another compnay of which i told him is obviously a mistake.
He has told me he will email his manager and phone me tomorrow but im sitting here very worried.
The reason being is that i am only 26 and had to build up my credit rating from scratch while living with parents and it has took me a few years to get to where i am now.
Will this obvious mistake affect my credit score and will MINT take full responsibilty as it is obviously a mistake on their behalf.
Then im thinking why accept me in the first place if my credit is bad or something but then im thinking i know my credit is good.
Sorry guys for the long post and the nature but im hoping someone might help me out or give me some advice.
Cheers.

If I were you, I'd go to http://www.creditexpert.co.uk or somesuch and pull your credit report. Then, if there's any incorrect information on there, you can query it with Experian who will then query it with the idiots who put it there.
If there's no bad information on there, then either call Mint and scream at them or, if you're very annoyed, contact the Financial Ombudsman.0 -

Thanks.
I was going to pull my credit report but then thought it might look bad if i do so.
Im sure i read before that it affects your credit score when applying for it.
And with this happening as well i dont want more hits.
Iv already screamed at MINT:D and he agrees that it looks like a mistake but even it is and it is rectified its the after effects of a mistake that is worrying me.
Who is the Financial Ombudsman?:o0 -

Too many searches by potential lenders over a short period of time may make you appear desperate for credit and so can reduce your credit score/rating
Searching your own credit report has no affect whatsoever.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -
Who is the Financial Ombudsman?:o
As the chap above me explained, searching your own credit report has no effect.
The Financial Ombudsman Service deal with complaints against financial service providers (banks, lenders and insurance basically). If MINT have resolved it like that, it probably shouldn't go that far tbh. Just mooting the possibility

Thanks guys.
MINT are phoning me back tomorrow so hopefully all will be resolved.
If not i will go down the credit report road to see where this apparent IVA has came from?
As i said it was the fact that it has taken me a few years to build decent credit and one human error could mess that all up.
Maybe an exageration yes but i do tend to think the worst.:o0 -
Well chaps MINT phoned me and offered me a full apology.
It was a fault on their behalf and everything is back to normal with my credit file.
No history of any IVA.
I can now access my online account ok.
I may request a copy of my credit report anyway but the man assured me there was no defualts against me or anything.0
