I wanna ................NEW FRIDGE!!

I have a daewoo fridge thats about 7-8 years old now and is getting well past it. I need a new one. I have never been impressed with the temperature my fridge kept things at, as I could never freeze anything in the ice box, so I wont be buying another Daewoo.
I just need a decent fridge that fits under the kitchen worktop, preferably without an ice box, as I have a chest freezer.
Does anyone know of a bargain fridge? I want one that works well, not another cheap and nasty one. Any recommendations for brands to look out for?

There was a Samsung frost free fridge/freezer for £239 ish - Argos I think - but there are soooooo many bargain fridges available, it'll be easy to spend ages looking!!

We've just bought a Beko fridge, from Argos. Never heard of the make, but it's been great so far (had it about 3 months) and it was SO much cheaper than the other brands,

i bought side by side fridge and freezer from lx direct

swan make which comes with 2 year guarantee, had mine for about a year, well pleased with product. never had any problem. so i beleive its good value especially with 2 year guarantee, better than buying something more expensive with 12 months guarantee and pay extra to extend it, in case it develops a fault after 12 months.
recently ordered one for friend as well, price still same,
plus if you search threads , you may be able to find codes for 10% off or £10off etc

I've got an LG fridge that cost £99 from Comet and is great. Energy category A and keeps things really cold, although it doesn't have a rated ice box (although you can make ice in it).

Highly recommended.

Hi folks, I'm new to the board!

Just thought I'd let you know that I did some temping for a company that imports fridges from China, the make is HAIER (I know you can get these from Argos and various catalogues).

They don't really seem to care about their customers and take ages to send out replacement parts... so just a word of warning if you were thinking of buying this brand!
