Your post is very hard to read. Could you possibly edit it, using paragraghs and not using capital letters? You might get a better response.0

have you applied for housing and council tax benefits
have you any other income
I would apply for DLA and put all your illnesses down on the application form, i would also suggest that you contact your doctor about your mental welfare, this alone could qualify you for DLA.
BELOW IS AN ONLINE APPLICATION FOR DLA WITH THE DWP

Hi
By the sound of your post, I think you would qualify for DLA. You would only recieve Carers Allowance if you were looking after someone else for 35hrs+ each week.
Im afraid I dont know much about the Industrial benefit, but may be worth your while contacting the Benefit Enquiry Line (BEL) and asking them for advice.
I wish you well.

Hi was wondering if anybody could please help me, I would like to know if I am entitled to any other benefits than Incapacity, which I have to pay money out, for rent, council tax, prescription, glasses, dentist etc.
I have been told about a benefit called Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit any one know about this. I had an accident at work in 1984, I slipped down wet stairs that did not have any warnings and injured my back this was logged, I had to go to the hospital and have treatment after my doctors referred me, I suffered back injuries and was in a lot of pain (I still am), my doctor signed me off work. I did not claim as I did not know anything about it. I was put on strong painkillers and they started, after a while to give me acid, the only way to get rid of it was to make myself sick, and this has caused me to become bulimic, and a few years ago I was diagnosed with Barretts Oesophagus because of the acid, also I am now anaemic suffering with depression, also on the borderline of c o p d. I also am asthmatic with two inhalers, all of this has taken its toll on me. I am always in pain I don’t go out the house and cannot deal with other people. I rarely get dressed and have let myself go, I also do not look after myself, I have had failed relationships as I am hard to live with. I do not want to be like this and hate myself for it, I cannot afford to have a healthy diet as I have not go enough money left to buy it. I want to be ok but every which way I go I am unemployable I can’t go out on my own I feel nervous, my friend always come with me if I have to go out, I cannot use public transport, I am too self conscious and wary. I also suffer with IBS I have never asked any one for anything.
If there are any benefits or advice anybody could help me with I would be so grateful. My friend saw this website and thought I should ask for help and advice on any benefits. I hope you can help me with this, if it was not for my friend helping me and supporting I don’t think I could cope he even borrows a car to take me out now and again. Do you think there are benefits I could claim or am I wasting my time please offer any suggestions. Many thanks.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Type in your postcode to the link below this will put you through to your local council regarding housing benefits

There are several benefits that you may be able to apply for:
If you are only eligible for IB, then you may also be eligible for Income Support, depending on your individual circumstances.
Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit would probably be the most difficult to apply for. There is more information on it here.
As others have said, Disability Living Allowance is payable where your health condition has an effect on your day to day living.
You would not be able to claim Carers Allowance as that is for when you care for someone else.
Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit is payable to those on a low income. This level is very low, however you may be eligible for a disability premium, so you may get some help with your rent and CT.
If you are not eligible for free prescriptions, you may be able to receive assistance through the NHS Low Income Scheme.
Do you have a mental health worker/ CPN? If so, they should be able to help you with the above forms. If not, I would definitely recommend a visit to CAB, as the forms can be quite longwinded.Gone ... or have I?0 -
