Joint account advice

Hi,

My girlfriend and I were thinking of getting a joint account to cover bills and groceries etc as it seems fairer. We don't want an overdraft or anything like that, just an account we can top up as and when we like and each have a card for. Are there any banks that have an account that would make our money work best for us without charging an initial fee or requiring a set amount be paid in each month?

Thanks,

Tom

Virtually all of the banks meet your requirements, so the differences come down to interest rates and how they treat you.

HSBC are best for customer service in my experience. Try them.

Why not make some money and get free cash via quidco? Alliance and Leicester springs to mind.
It goes against what you are suggesting but how about an account each to get two lots of free money?
