what's the point of the follow up posts in this instance?

The Op's is *still* the cheapest & I to get one to me, I don't even have to get my lazy backside of my badly compressed sofa (other than to get a refreshing beer for all the effort I put myself through ordering online)

But some of us aren't couch potatoes and have some foresight.

Many MSEers shop at Morrisons anyway so it's possibly far less effort to pop one in their trolley rather than going online even if it does cost them 50p.

However Play.com doesn't take money-off coupons, £2 off a £20 spend voucher or Luncheon Vouchers.
It took me all of 3 minutes of my time to buy mine since I was already buying fuel at their petrol station.
After handing over coupons worth £5.38 and Luncheon vouchers worth £8, I paid just £16.58 of my own money (which makes them just £4.15 each) and I know many on MSE that have similar insights into supermarket shopping.

The Sandisk MICRO SD isn't available at Play and with the included adapter makes it dual purpose and, for the extra 50p, far more flexible, fitting mobile phones, PDA's, as well as cameras etc.

Furthermore if you do want to buy the standard 2Gb SD cards at Play.com, the observant amongst us know, that you can get them for just £12.49 a pair !!!

  • If you use Quidco (as every good Moneysaver should!), you will get 4% off with play.com and 7% with Crucial, so Crucial work out a few pence cheaper.

Surely you could use the vouchers with your normal weekly shopping so in effect you aren't making those savings for real. If you didnt by the memory cards you would have used them on your shopping - not just never used them?

Bit confused by this as the one IS in stock at play and comes with the adapter too.

Plus you get you 4% cashback so save another 25/30p. Agree it is quite cheap at Morissons, but if every time someone mentioned a dea, people started saying everywhere that you could ge this more expensive than this, the pages would get very full very quickly!

    ..................

Re the coupons and vouchers - I've got quite a supply and it's very unlikely that I will actually use all of certain ones before they reach expiry date, so I've actually got enough to use towards my normal shopping AND to buy SD cards at about half price.

Re the Sandisk Micro SD with adapter - I used Play's search box and it wasn't there from what I could see. "Sandisk Micro" found nothing. "Micro" found some but not Sandisk branded. "Sandisk" found loads but "Micro" wasn't one of them.
Perhaps it was having a dodgy moment like MSE search sometimes does (there it is, no it isn't, yes it is! :rotfl: )

Can you provide a link please ?
I just searched again (about a dozen different ways) and still can't find it.
Not sure if I'm going mad, blind or if I was right the first time.
