hi everyone,
i'm looking at applying for a morgage with my girlfriend soon, but am concerned that me recently applying for a credit card might scupper my chances of getting approved.
can anyone shed any light on this for me? any help would be great

So long as it hasn't been maxed out and payments haven't been missed on a regular basis etc, it might actually benefit your score believe it or not! They prefer some credit history rather than none at all. So long it was just this one application and you haven't applied for others within the last few months you should be fine.0
