motor trade policy, add driver has convictions!!

Hi, I'm looking for a 'cheap' motor trade policy.

I have a clean license but my additional driver has 2 DR30's and 2 IN10's.

Can anyone help please? I have looked all over :o

Not being rude, but do you really want someone with those convictions driving any vehicles? One IN10 alone is enough to put a lot of insurers off - but two of those AND 2 DR30's? Madness.

I know what you mean, but I am kinda stuck really, I didnt want to mention who it was but its my partner you see. We have only been together a year, and I didnt know him beforehand. So now, we have decided to start up a business and see how it goes.

you wont get anything cheap - I have known people topay £1000 for a motor traders policy with no convictions.

I must admit that 2 IN & 2 DR offences within the last 5 years is horrific - i am suprised any insurer will even offer a price as it shows total disregard for the law, i mean they arent 4 speeding offences (which would be a ban in itself usually)

there are 2 important facts - when did the incidents occur? what length of ban was imposed?

hi - there are three companies who will quote for cases like this :-

    tradex insurance
    tradewise insurance
    bollington.com

you will get a better result by ringing them.
