Hi,
I had ordered a camera from currys online and the order online shows as delivered however I have not received it. I have called them up a couple of times and they contacted DHL who said that someone had collected it with an proper id.
I have opened a complaint with currys , anything else I can do ? Will I loose my money if they can't find whom they have delivered to.
Thanks
Puneet

was it delivered to a home or work address?
also, do you live in a house or flats/apartments?helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
If it was delivered to 'someone with appropriate ID', in order to back that up they would have to be able to tell you who that person was...April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200

It was home address and we live in appartments. The online status displays as someone MR. Sammy has signed for it and theer is nobody I know with the name. I have left a note near the post boxes for anyone who may have collected it but have had no response. I have paid by credit card. Can I ask them to stop the payment for it ?0

you can claim a chargeback i think, i know you can do it with ebay & paypal, so i assume you can do it through a shop.
does your building have a porter?helpful tips

We don't have a porter. Whom can I get chargeback from currys or the credit card ?0

If DHL are saying a 'Mr Sammy' collected it, and the package wasn't addressed to a 'Mr Sammy', then they have been negligent - they've given it to someone that the package was not addressed to."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

hi
as far as im aware, your credit card company could dispute this for you under items not recieved- so long as you can provide them with an expected deliverly date

as said the courier would/should have seen id that was for the addressee given it was being collected
some seem hotter on this than others.
last time i collected from parcel force the woman on the desk closely inspected my ID and i was in royal mail uniform!!
however another courier (HDL IIRC) handed over my 60gb ipod without a card or id!!!0 -
Thanks everyone.. Hoping they somehow find where they hae delivered it to soon.0
