I bought one of these last year, it has worked a treat.
By the end of winter it did not go on for a few days, but I think it was due to me adjusting settings not a fault with the light.
Great for the price.....
I noticed Tescos have this, on offer all summer pack of 3 for 35.00. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.202-1132.aspx
Anyone have an opinion on these as i prefer outdoor lights that are on when i want them on rather than just when someone triggers the PIR sensor.
Heres Tesco range. http://direct.tesco.com/search/default.aspx?search=solar+lights&confirm.x=29&confirm.y=130 -
An electric fence is a much better deterent though I am not sure if they make an "eco friendly" solar powered one yet.

Most of these solar powered lights, have re-chargeable batteries.. If you find your lights are lacking in the winter give them a booster charge in your battery charger to bring them back to life....:DTo travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....0

There are also lots in Homebase on offer at the moment, worth a comparison.
Most have NiCad AA batteries though, so to improve them, swap them out for NiMh batteries.0
