BT line without outgoing calls?

While I was at university I had a BT line which cost us about £10 per quarter and we couldn't make outgoing calls but could still get broadband.

I can't find anything like this on the BT site anymore, is it still around and if so how?

Last time I had to try three times as the indian call centre kept mucking things up and telling me things like I couldn't have it if I had a mobile (after this I just said ok and then rung again a minute later and said I never had one)

Any ideas?

i don't think you can anymore its either option 1 or above or pay as you go with no broadband

I suspect that you were on the low-user scheme. Until a couple of years ago you could still get broadband even though you were on the scheme. I am sure that there are still some people getting their broadband but I suspect BT will catch up with. Now you cannot get broadband on a low-user circuit as it is defined as an incompatible service and has to be removed first.
