Wheel nut adaptor for BMW 3 series

Lost it. It's a 97 TD Touring estate. (sorry, I ballsed-up the thread title, it's a 5 series)

Can I only get a replacement from BMW?

Any idea of the cost?

Any ways round the problem without buying a new one?

It's a kind of inverted star shape of adaptor...original from BMW I think, it doesn't look like it's individual for each car but really I've no idea.

Any help will be appreciated. Ta

Go to your local BMW service dept and ask them if they would send out the spotty apprentice with their master sets so you can order a brand spanking new one from them. then once you have got the correct number (think they're are 20) get on ebay looking for one!
