Had another rubbish nights sleep as K was up coughing quite a bit. She was good though she stayed in her bed even after I went in to give her some calpol.

A huge pile of work that has built up...

A massive ironing pile waiting for me at home...
DF is away until Thursday evening...
But the sun is trying to shine on the Lancashire coast, I can see enough blue sky to make a pair of sailor's trousers, and I've almost got all the paperwork to get my son's £300 student rental deposit back - from June 2006
have a good day & love to all,

Morning all, slightly in land from the Lancashire coast, and sky is very grey here. Have lots of running round to do- because Mr.bob was too lazy at weekend to do it. Having new doors fitted and kitchen sink, from flood just before Christmas, everything dried out now, but joinery work to be done before new flooring- it's been a bit of a nightmare, as i have had a few cakes for family occasions to make, and a bit hard work to do so in those conditions-have to make sure everything as spotless and hygenic as can be.anyway all done now, so can relax a bit- after running round etc.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Ouch floss! Forget the ironing though! Stick it in the tumble dryer or find someone elses.. that's even more MSE! :rotfl: :rotfl:A huge pile of work that has built up...

Morning all!:D
Hope you don't mind me joining in with daily chat today. I'm at work (!) and trying to get up some motivation to get going. Also trying to get up the guts to check bank balance, but that's another story...;)
It's quite cloudy and cold here in London - office heating doesn't seem to be on (perhaps the bosses are secret MSErs!) so am resolutely wearing my scarf. I wonder if they will take the hint.. :rotfl:

Been seconded to a job I detest and had a complete paddy about yesterday at work, so now jobhunting while supposedly doing 2nd job - already have resignation writeen out
Was a beautiful morning - wished I was walking on the hills instead of on the bus to work - but now gone cloudy so I want to hibernate.
OH out tonight so going to Slimming World on my own (:(), Tescos on my own (:) - halves my shopping bill), and will have to go home and clean and iron
Really fed up - dont feel that I've really 'tried' to help my debt recently especially as I've really spoiled my parents recently for Monthers Day and my Dads birthday. Don't mind that so much but just feel like I'm stuck.
