Sage Payroll £££££

I paid last year for the newest version with Sage cover as I was new to the software.
This year they automatically sent an invoice for the automatic cover @ £275 + Vat. I phoned up and said I do not need cover as my accountant is always happy to help. They said basically it is a legal requirement as I need the updates. After I complained for the 8 staff £300 odd was a fair bit of money, they did offer 15% reduction and I complained further they offered the less than 10 employee version where you pay £35 to downgrade and then it goes down to £105 + Vat.
Just thought might help someone else, or if anyone has anything to add please feel free! For me the free phone 10 minute call saved me £170!

Ah, that's Sage for you. They have a knack of doing this that really seems to p**s people off!
Why not try 12pay.co.uk. The full version with unlimited users is only £50 a year!0 -

People will question your motives if you keep dragging up old posts to promote the same product. You have done this with 12PAY on 3 of your 4 posts and the other was for another product. The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
