cost of electric cooker connection

Can people tell me what the cost of having an electric cooker connected is these days. I know its a fairly quick job but it isnt something I could do myself. Has anybody had theirs done recently?

  • I am making sweeping assumptions here, but I charge £35-£45 all in

Price includes new bit of heat resistant flex, and certifiacte.

Price assumes all existing electrics are OK, and cooker connection plate is acessible, undamaged and circuit is compliant (earth loop impedance, amongst other tests)
Price also assumes there isn't miles to travel, and you don't have to wipe your feet when leaving :D
    baldly going on...
