i am looking at buying a nearly new car maybe an o4 reg Hyundai Matrix or similar MPV (cheap n cheerfull no frills but reliable) my question is obviosly no one pays the price on the windscreen! so what sort of discount could i expect? for example i was just offered £400 of a scrren price of £5999 and i also managed to them agreeing to fit a towbar rrp £234 which equates to 634 of the screen price so does anyone no of any rules/hints/tips on what you can realisticly get prices down to? be good to hear from any dealers or anyone! ;)

It all depends on a million variables - how long it's been in stock, how much they paid for it, how desperate they are for sales etc.

You've managed 10% so far and it doesn't sound like you've really pressed them, i think you could probably get a bit more off but not a vast amount
