I have never done this before and have no idea what the best method of collecting sponsors is
I have a moneybookers and paypal account ( don't really want to give paypal a % of the charity money though) So I was thinking if you could reply to this thread I could send you my moneybookers e-mail to send a few pence towards the charities and I will pass the money on to them, unfortunatly It will take a bit of trust on your part that I will pass the money to the charity so I will post a receipt of the end Charity payment. If people who wish to donate mention it in this thread this will also be a kinda running total to showing how much has been raised to comapare with the final amount I hand over

Tom McLoughlin-Yip is making an epic journey to raise money for the West Midlands Lupus Group and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The journey will start at St Bees Head (on the West coast) on 15th March finishing at Robin Hood Bay (East coast) 27th March. Tom has Cystic Fibrosis himself and to do this walk is an achievement for him. The walk will take 11-12 days covering 194 miles. Please sponsor him generously

[/FONT]Hi all Please find attached a sponsor form for Tom's epic walk. He would be gateful if you could collect sponsors for him. As he has not been able to set up payment through a secure site. He would be grateful if you could collect the money and send a cheque through payable to LUPUSCF A charity account has been set up for the above purpose.

just checked it out and unfortunatly it takes a minimum of 3 days to set it up, and the thing starts in 3 days, They left it a bit late before asking me, probably as they are only expecting a few quid from family and friends really .... I just thought i'd try and get a few more quid for them :-):A0 -
