Any Suggestion for Boys suits for wedding???

Hi all,
am getting married in sept and really need some suggestion for boys suits, I have four sons ages 1,2,5,13 and would really like them to all be in suits for the wedding but have checked out some prices :eek: and they are very high.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could by cheap ones or even hire but this is normally more expensive.

Thanks

    when are you getting married ?
    we got married in june and didnt have full suits for my three page boys i just bought them black school pants {adams are nice or next }
    they have plaine white wedding shirts in next then just hired the waistcoat and cravat of the same place the men got there suits from put it this way it cost £50 for the mens suits to hire but they wanted £65 for the childrens to cover for any damage
    have you seen peter kay do the scetch about boys at wedding 's:rotfl: in the end i found doing it this way they had a pair of trousers they could use for school and it only cost me about £40

    Yeah, thats exactly what i was thinking, I thought that way they would'nt need full suits(jackets) as they won't want to wear the jacket as soon as the ceremony has finished so just seems a waste of money, and I think the waist coat and cravat looks really cute without jacket.

    Was looking around for suit hire for OH today, cheapest I could find is Moss Bros so far and they are around £79, is that about standard.

    we are getting married on the 18th Sept, I can't wait, but very stressful planning on such a tight budget.

    Have you tried BHS. They usually have a wedding section and is quite reasonably priced.

    I managed to get mens suits and childrens suit, mine and bridesmaids shoes and accessories from there.

    I went on one of their cardholder nights as well and got an extra 10% off everything but if you look out for when they hold these events you usually find that a sale is close to follow.

    there are some good suits on ebay for around £25 each

    most of them are 5 piece so you get jacket waistcoat shirt tie and trousers and you could maybe sell them again afterwards.

    BHS and Debenhams have waistcoat and cravat sets from £20 for kids , and do matching adults from £35 , so you would just need trousers and shirts ... which you could get from plenty of places .... they also do kids suits aswell if you wanted it all ... well worth a look though !!

    hi i think it was me paddingtondoo who recommended the ebay shop staffs retail. i found them absolutley brilliant. i got my two boys a suit each costing me 17 pound each and it includes shirt tie jacket trousers and a cummerband to go round the middle they were really helpful and really fast delivery i would definatley recommend them to all i think the more you buy as well they will give you a discount and if there is a problem they accept returns so its probably worth a try you aint got owt to lose if you dont like them when you get them and it will work out cheaper in the long run
