Which on-line trading sites allow the buying & selling of shares in real time?

Pretty much all online stockbrokers will offer this feature. Share trades pretty much have to happen in real time. If you mean sites where you have constant access to real time data rather than only when you request a price for a trade, then I'm not sure where you can go other than certain Spreadbetting accounts.money_tree wrote: »Which on-line trading sites allow the buying & selling of shares in real time?

Most on line sites for non-brokers have a 20 min or longer gap before the deal is made. If you want to sell shares you own instantly, i think the only way is to speak directly to a broker, who if he is satisfied with your credentials, (eg ownership, share certificates ect) will make the deal for you there and then.0 -
Think you are confusing two points here. Most on line sites for non-brokers have a 20 min or longer gap before the deal is made. If you want to sell shares you own instantly, i think the only way is to speak directly to a broker, who if he is satisfied with your credentials, (eg ownership, share certificates ect) will make the deal for you there and then.
Online brokers tend to display prices with a 20 minute delay, i.e. any holdings in your account, but if you want to trade then they will provide you with a market buy / sell price (normally valid for a number of seconds) in order for you to make a decision and execute the trade.
