hitch-hiking across Europe for charity!
Hi everyone...i'm a student from the University of Sheffield and this Easter, instead of sleeping and watching TV, i'm going to be hitch-hiking from Sheffield to Tallinn, Estonia - that's over 1800 miles, and to make it even worse we only have a budget of £15!
I am a final year student which means I also have loads of work to be doing, but i've decided this will be much more worthwhile and will benefit a lot more people!
The main charities that I am hitch-hiking for are:
SOS Children's Villages - http://www.sos-childrensvillages.org.uk/ Registered Charity No. 1069204
STOP - Supporting Trafficked and Oppressed People - http://www.stop-uk.org/
Registered Charity No. 1116332
People and Planet - http://peopleandplanet.org/ Registered Charity No. 326008
Sue Ryder Care - http://www.suerydercare.org/ Registered Charity No. 1052076
This is going to be a massive challenge - both physically and mentally. I've never slept rough for one night so doing it for 9 will be hard! But it will of course be worth it to support these charities.
Thanks for reading this, and if you can possibly support me as little or as much as you would like to then I would be massively grateful! It all counts! PLEASE sponsor me at http://www.bummit.co.uk/Profiles/View/126
