I signed up to the most basic option on BT, however, they then decided to add a 25% Off mobile package to save me money, without me saying ok. It would seem it was automatically triggered. I then moved to SKY which was always my intention. However as this was outside the 7 days that they allow u to cancel.
I recieve a bill today for 130 for cancelling the aforementioned 25% off package.
Obvioulsy I now hope they get raped by an elephant, however, I dont really want a bad debt, cos thats gay. What should I do about this, i really hope someone gets a hanging for it, what are the chances?
Cheers for any advice
PS anyone notice how crap their phone system is. I am asked twice if i want to sign up for a their new offer, in succession. What a pack of tards, IMO

£130? Sounds like you've been charged for the line installation.0

Thats what i thought, its actually 126 or something odd like that. I have already that line installation.0

Sounds like you've been charged for the line installation, which even if you cancel the service you still have to pay for the work carried out.0

i still pay 11£ for line rental. I know what they have done, they added a service i didnt ask for then charged me when i told them to take it off.0 -
They did the same to me...ended up staying with them until the contract is almost up (June) so I can cancel it without the cancellation fee. really got my back up - rude woman on the phone. Never using BT again after this - feel they really have taken the biscuit...[size=-2]Remember its nice to be nice and its good to share!

cheers for the helpful advice, seeing as you work for BT maybe you could be more constructive or better yet, put down the monkies who set up your phone menu. Its hilarious that a phone company cant organise holding music on their 0800800150 line and that you get asked twice if you want to sign up to their latest special offer before getting to the main menu.
If you cant make fun of these situations then people end up flipping the lid.0 -

There is no 7 day cancellation period with BT once the telephone line has been installed..

I would have helped out, but obviously you want me to be raped by an elephant so it puts me off being helpful. Or, if I was actually being serious I find it quite sad that somone old enough to have a phone still needs to use 'gay' as an insult. But without seeing your bill how much help can any of us be?
edit: if you want my help then I will. Shoot me a PM and I will see what i can do.The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20
