    Hi

Unfortunately just after my last post on this thread my computer totally crashed and I have had to have a new hard disk fitted. I had just downloaded DVDFlick so am feeling slightly nervous about re dowloading it. I was advised I might need a Btorrent (sp) download to convert Avis but I think DVDFlick seemed to be doing the business before the crash. Can anyone confirm that this is a safe programme (and user friendly) to download?

Fortunately my techie guy has just about restored all my stuff (except programmes of course) so I think £140 for new hard disk and restoration was well worth it. Hard lesson about back-up!!!!

Had issues with my e-mail but because I am now Outlook 2003 have played around and more or less got the settings sorted.

Thanks to those who took the time to reply to my original thread..

DiVX is what you're looking for.

    Install
    Restart you computer
Play away in Windows Media Player or any other player.

grannybroon I've used DVDFlick for a couple of years without any issues whatsoever. I think it's just a coincidence that your HD crashed whilst you were using it. You definately don't need to start messing around with bittorrent.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
