Over Draft??

Just recently i recieved a letter from the bank saying they are giving me a 500quid over draft, that i had untill the end of the month to refuse otherwise they would automaitcly give me this. Just a question really is this an arranged overdraft? and would i be charged for going into this?? cheers for any help

    If the bank is offering to put an overdraft facility on the account then it is an arranged overdraft! You will be charged interest for using it, but nothing like the £30+ fee for going overdrawn without the facility in place.
