Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Stuff that. I'll move it by hand for the very few times I can't reverse it where it needs to be and save myself £600.0

No doubt you are stronger than I am or have a smaller van. We did manage to move all our earlier caravans by hand but maybe we were younger and stronger then and/or maybe caravans are getting larger and heavier now.Stuff that. I'll move it by hand for the very few times I can't reverse it where it needs to be and save myself £600.
I'm pretty good at reversing but even so the mover allows you to see exactly where the caravan is in relation to a wall/hedge etc so you can SAFELY get within inches of the hazard.
It is also much easier when you are on your own, to reverse car near to the caravan and then use the mover to move the caravan hitch over the towball. You can nudge the controls to move the van inch by inch until it is just right so there is absolutely no danger of damaging the back of your car.
Yep Bolsover Caravans have them at £ 589.00 but it comes to £ 607.00 with delivery. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

thought it would be worth mentioning that last year i had a Reich caravan mover fitted and have never had a problem with it. Part of the reason i went for this one was that the motor and gearbox is completely encased and protected from mud spray and water etc..... i got it from a place called midlandmotormovers.co.uk fully fitted at my house for about £650 i think.

I would recommend you inspect your Enduro mover on a regular basis. Mine is now about 18 months old and I have just had to have the unit off the 'van to check out various noises which had started recently. A bearing in the outer end of one of the rollers had collapsed and I had to replace it. Two of the screws in one of the phosphor bronze slides had come loose and were lost. This meant that one of the units could move sideways more than it should when being moved into contact with the wheel. The screws were replaced and the slide adjusted. It was also noted that the paint finish has not proved very durable and is coming off in places. I greased up the slides and chains and all seems well now, but I didn't expect to have do this sort of maintenance in so short a time.
