EON EnergyOnline Extra Saver customers - switch within EON and save money!
Options
I've been on EONs EnergyOnline Extra Saver rate since switching to them last year.
I've just got a letter telling me about the price increase and the automatic switch to their "standard EnergyOnline" prices in May, so I thought I'd check. EON are still cheapest for me, but when I looked at the alternative rates I discovered "Energy Online Extra Saver 5" - exactly the same as the scheme I'm on at the moment but CHEAPER per unit, and it doesn't revert to the standard rate in May!
So even if the comparison tools tell you you're with the cheapest supplier, check their other schemes as well!

My bro's just had the same problem. This tariff only lasts a year and then you apparently revert to the standard terms. He phoned them had a moan and got put back on the discounted tariff after telling them he was going to leave. I've just switched to the same tariff but will make sure I move again before the year is up and hopefully pick up another cashback up.:beer:0

As soon as I get my 3 monthly bill (pay via DD each month) I like to stick the true meter readings in online.
I signed up to the online saver extra only in September so think moving me to the more expensive ones is very underhand especially as the same tarriff is available to those who actually go online.
Be warned that they have also called 2 packages saver 5. One has a standing charge, one does not.Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:0
