Hi
I switched to nPOwers Standard Sign Online 7 / Monthly DD just over a year ago.
We use about £83/month and having done a check with the two biggest savings as follows:
British Gas - claim £194 saving but seem to have very bad customer service
Atlantic Online - claim £131 saving and seem to have very good customer service
Couple of questions:

.... hit submit too early...
the questions were:
- what is the collective wisdom on where prices are headed
- is BG really that bad to the point where I should avoid
- is Npower behind or ahead with recent prices rises compared to these - ie I dont want to find I switch then have them raise their prices as they have held off
I also some some posts re nPower mode of creative billing so I guess I need to keep an eye on this one too!

Hi,
Have you had a look to see if nPower's Sign Online 10 works out to be cheaper? This tariff is up to date so I cannot see it going up anytime soon.
If you are looking for a fixed deal then Scottish Powers new tariff fixes your prices till 2011, this may however cost you more.
I would wait until April to see how much Atlantic's prices go up by before going near them. British Gas have had some bad press but if their Click Energy 5 tariff works out as a good deal then I would consider it as you do have control over the account with it being online.0
