I would first like to say I have driven hundreds of cars and tested many.

The Picasso I bought 2 years ago for a family and spacious and economical car. This it is.

However, reliability- electrics and many RECALLS!

I worked for a woman who had a picasso and she had the same problems. In the end she broke down on the M25 in the height of summer, 7 months pregnant and with two small children on board, all due to an electrical fault.

What happened to the days when mums used to drive their kids round in a Mini Metro?

I just pop in now and then.... :)

My son's company car was a Picasso, after 3 years had to hand it back. Sorely regrets not accepting the offer to buy it. Up and down the M1,no major problems, and more importantly never let him down. New car, some sporty effort, no proper room for people let alone children and within days proved to be unreliable - back to a Picasso before the cold weather sets in.

must agree with previous post ref BERLINGO , we wanted a roomy mpv type vehicle to run as a taxi ( abouut 3 years ago ) the choice was ren scenic or cit piccaso we decided on the citroen , went to dealers and saw the berlingo £3500 cheaper then piccaso similar in size so we went for the berlingo, was the right choice , only mistake was we bought the 1.9 d and should of gone for the 2.0 hdi the 1.9 cruises ok but there is not enough grunt when traveling at around 55/60 to pass the lorries, as far as space goes when we do an airport we have never had a problem getting luggage in because of the square back end. also take a look at what other taxi drivers are using i think you will see more berlingos than piccasos, final point if going for an ex-mobilty i have found that thet seem to be driven with very little respect the milage may be low but they will have been kerbed , good luck whatever you choose

Theres just about everything you need to know about the Picasso here - http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/

We have a year old 1.6HDI Exclusive... it's great I think.... it's had a few minor faults.... Oh and the ECU died  but that was replaced immediately under warranty... the air con is excellent and cruise control for the longer journeys is a god send.
