OMG a week today is Ashli's (My eldest's) 3rd birthday! :eek::eek::eek:
Where does the time go??
How's everyone doing today? I'm alright, been sleeping like crap since friday and both the girls have colds so are grumpy.
Anyone up to anything nice today? No plans for me, except for maybe taking some more leaflets round our area this evening..

Expensive weekend this weekend so just sat a work justifying it to myself!
Wedding on Saturday - present and cost of drink etc at reception then Crufts yesterday - fuel and food. should have taken packed lunches really. However now day 10 of being a non smoker so £52.50 saved there and have not needed to go food shopping for 10 days as did food shop online and was sensible about what I bought so money definately saved there. 22 days to pay day and we are doing okay so far!
5 days left at work before starting to plan for the big move to new job and new house - aargh! Talk about time flying IA - were has time gone?!0 -

Hi honey's I'm home!
Bloody exhausted though, I didn't sleep a wink last night despite being awake since friday, this jet lag thing knocks me for 6 every time.
We had a really awful experience yesterday morning as we drove home right at the end of our own street. Some lunatic who was obviously coked off his head decided my hubby gave him a dirty look while driving?? So he followed us, blocked the car and was screaming abuse wanting hubby to get out of the car so he could kick the crap out of him, he punched the window and when that didn't break went into his boot and pulled out a jack to smash the window with. I freaked out because the kids were screaming, so I went to get out of the car (lost my temper a bit) and probably would have been stabbed if hubby hadn't have pulled me back in and tried to run the sick junkie over. He then got back in his car and drove off. Nice eh! Jas is still freaked out and scared he'll come and find where we live, but she seems a bit calmer this morning.
Then amongst the mail was a court order for the business we don't own any more for a debt of 4k from our accountant that I know nothing about what so ever. And a letter from a debt collector for a random £1200 from GE capital bank??? as far as I know I've never had anything from them and as far as I'm concerned I payed off all our debts over a year ago so I'm really confused about that one. I'll do the template letter asking for the info on the debt, who it's from and what it's all about. If I owe it i'll pay it but I always had good records of what we owed and this doesn't fit anywhere. I'm pretty sure I'd know if I owed someone that amount.
So, I feel like getting right back on a flight and heading out of reality again, only I'm too knackered to drive to the airportI can't even get the energy together to go to tesco. Sigh
So, what's been going on here then?:A

:hello: toto!! Sounds like you've had a rough weekend!!! What a freak in the car!!! Glad you're all ok though.. as for the debt letter it's probably someone trying it on... I'm sure someone will give you a template letter to tell them to Eff off... :rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

morning everyone,
welcome back toto xxx
Had a good weekend for the first time in ages now back to the spring cleaning! On a mission0 -
IA - hope Ashli has a lovely 3rd birthday! :T
GG - as suggested, maybe you can stay and just not mention the house? Or can you register again?
Toto - sorry to hear about your weekend, what a weirdo!! Hope you're OK now and the GE Capital Bank letter turns out to be someone trying it on - why not order your credit report, it ought to show up on there if there's anything? But £4k, as you say you'd know if you owed that, so chances are they've either got the wrong details or are just trying it on. Hope it works out OK
I'm on lunch at the min but working from home today as I've had a migraine for the last 3 days straight - it's a bit better today but still need my sunglasses on and they may just be a tad TOO trendy for the office!lol
The DFW thing is going well at the moment, I've just had a bonus of £45 cashback arriving from Quidco (my first payout ever! So exciting!!) which I've transferred out into my currenct acc - will pay it off my CC debt when it arrives.
Other things aren't going so well, me and the OH keep fighting which is really getting me down, we as 2 people together are fine, we get on so well but we're just at different stages in life and such ... but that's such a stupid situation to be in. If we love each other shouldn't that be enough?? Gonna go and see my mate tonight and have a bit of a girlie chat, god knows I need it!
Anyways sorry for the whinge just a bit down n whatnot.
Hope everyone is okay xxTarget debt - Loan left over from previous relationship - c. £3700
