Auctiva

Just won a ring for my daughter and went through my ebay console and paid. It went from ebay to auctiva , I added the postage and it then went to Paypal and they paid the seller. Seems good so far but paypal and auctiva paid in US dollare and I've just seen the sellers e-mail to me in sterling. I await the fun to follow. I assume thay will refund the dollars and request a repayment in pounds. Why do auctiva invoice in dollars when its a UK seller?
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

It seems that auctiva checkout does not understand sterling, no real surprise there, apart from turning off the auctiva secure checkout, is there any other way of changing default dollars to sterling? Seller has just started using it and has a 100 other potential problems coming up so I'm trying to help her(and me).I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
