Post Office CC - increasing limit

Applied for and received PO credit card but with a £1000 limit. Has anyone any experience of increasing their limit. I have tried the call centre (Eire based) who say no one can increase but it may be done automatically when reviewed after 6 months.......I don't like the expression "no-one" as someone always can.

Any ideas

Post Office card is run by Bank or Ireland, hence the Irish call centre.

It is standard practice to not be able to increase the limit until 6 months have passed. They just want to see the account run efficiently for this time before increasing the potential debt levels.
