Washing machine will not drain. Help needed please

Hi, I have got a Creda simplicity 1000 washing machine. At the moment it will not drain, i have taken alot of the water out of the drum by hand. I think that perhaps the pump filter might need cleaning out, however i don't know where to locate it. I have pulled the machine out and had a look at the sides of the machine and also checked to see if there was a small boxy thing where the filter might be. I have heard that not all machines have a " flap " where you can drain out the water. Do any of you guys or gals have any idea where it could be? I hope someone might be able to help me. Thank you.

The easiest way to get the water out is to lie the flexi pipe on the floor and if possible directly outside, otherwise into a bucket and let gravity take its course.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.
