In the absence of any substance so far, I went to the Spice Merchant last week. Overpriced imho for the actual meal, and not that great. I was disappointed.

However, they do do an "All you can eat" Buffet for £7.50. And I figure that's the kind of deal it's hard to turn down. Might be better.

7 days a week. 12-5pm, which would meet varying needs of daytime/any day. After 5pm though the prices rocket and it's not worth the money.

Anybody got any other suggestions?

I've fancied having a go on one of those water taxis too.
And I believe there is ice skating down the Bay somewhere.

^^ That all sounds fabby... think I might struggle to get off work before 5pm on a schoolnight though

I'm up for this, can virtually come any time. Would suggest Spice Route rather than Spice Merchant,in my opinion, much better, but I really don't mind. Keep me posted.:beer: :beer: :beer:

I logged on today feeling a little sorry for myself as I won't be holidaying anywhere this year - again, didn't go anywhere last year either. Anyhow, been reading the where-to-go-in-Wales threads and have now cheered up 1000 fold knowing how lucky I am to be living here in Wales. Why go away?

I am in Pembrokeshire so hi to those others that are here too - I know there are a few of us. :hello: I thought being as there are a few campers also why don't we all arrange a camping trip in the summer. It'll be cheap, cheerful and we can take it in turns to cook on open fires etc. so we can justify the small(ish) expense by passing it off as a training-to-be-frugal weekend/week/fortnight/month????
