vpreward.com scam/theft

I have only today, realised for the very first time in nearly 3 years, that your company has been deducting monies directly from my Credit Card Account every month since March 2006. It initially started at £9.95 for 11 months totalling £109.45, then in February 2007 it increased to £11.95 for a further 12 months totalling £143.40 and then this year in February 2008 it went upto £13.95 and I have already paid 2 months totalling £27.90.

This is an unbeliveable amount totalling £280.75 for something I have never received a membership number for and as a result know nothing about and have never ever used. My only recollection of ever giving my credit card details to a comany called Vista Prints, was way back early 2006 to pay postage for a free small self-inking address stamp which believe it or not I have never used because it was too small to even read.

I am obviously absolutely furious, in addition increasing these amount every year without even notifying me of any increase. Surely this type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and illegal. I have obviously now cancelled my credit card, but does anyone know what else I should or could do and how I can get my money back from these thieves that have stolen nearly £300 from my credit card account?

There is a lot of contact details for VP rewards etc and some people do appear to be getting their money refunded. I hope you get somewhere.

Yes, I also find it unbeleivable that you do NOT check your statements every time you receive one. That dates back to Lesson 1 of "how to handle money", commonly called "always check your statements".

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I ordered from Vistaprint about four months ago. I vaguely remember there was something offering a sum of money off your next order so clicked on it. While I can't remember what came up, it looked like a scam with a different company name, so I came out and started afresh. It could be this that 'signs you up' without realising it. I haven't been charged anything by vpreward.
