Looking for Park home lawyer

Can any money savers out there help please. I am trying to locate any lawyers pref in Scotland that specialize in residential park home law. We have a major problem with seperation distance which we were unaware of before we bought the park home and yes if we could have got a survey done this would have shown up. But due to know one specializing in this area we were unaware. We did not have the option of walking away as this was the only way we could afford a home, it was that or being on the streets. I know they are not the best buy but when there are no council houses, private rents are way out of budget and you cannot afford a mortgage then this was a better option than living rough. Any help much appreciated:A

Hi there, the problem is the advisory (model standard) 6 meters rule. The local council is demanding 6 meters spacing or they will revoke the sight licence. Not that they have bothered with the place for years and it is a good site. Anyway we bought the home 3 years ago but there is a problem as our neighbourgh has tripled the size of their home. They are selling up so one of us has to loose part of their property before it can be sold. Unlike our neighbour we actualy live in are home, they only use it for holidays which although illegal they get away with it on the grounds that this is the address they pay council tax on and get their bills sent to but they do not live in it. (It's a crazy world we live in) anyway the council and fire department seem to think it would be easier to knock down are small conservatory which it probably would be. But my point is A We bought it like that, we did not put this on (unlike the neighbourgh who also apperently built our conservatroy). B We live in the home and this space is used as a laundry/office space. C Lastly looking at the original plans we are were we should be including the conservatory were as they have severely encroached:eek: We are aware that we could claim compensation from the site owner for the loss of this but the point is we need it as there is no room anywhere else to put the laundry equipment and computer ect. I hope this answers your question:D
