What is the seller upto?

I often search listings by distance to save postage fees on bulky items and came across this listing

Item number: 180221384123 (sorry don't know how to add links).

All this sellers items are like this with a 99p start price but details in the description about how they only want a much higher price.

I've no intention of bidding as it all seems a bit strange, could someone here explain to me what is going on?

Thanks

She obviously hasn't got a clue what she is doing.

All her listings could be reported and would most definitely be pulled.

The listings have been up for a few days though, but I guess the seller thinks ebay is just like a classified ads service.

  • And suddenly all her listings have gone! Looks like she finally worked out that this is an auction site or someone pointed her in the right direction!

For interest is a seller out of pocket if they cancel the auctions after they have started?

Somebody might have reported her listings and that's why they have all gone.

They would be out of pocket if they cancelled them, unless she listed them this weekend when it was free listing.

in case the items appear again.

Interestingly one of her items is still up but seems to be an american listing. I'm beginning to assume this is just a new seller who has got themselves in a muddle. That are she is expecting a buyer from the states to come over to Milton Keynes to pick up a childs quad bike!

I think we have a TSFE seller here, new or not she really isn't being awfully bright.
