Favours - Cheap N Cheerful Please!

So, I had these all planned. I was doing CD's & even bought the discs, labeller & sleeves but have thought better or it. (Not a prob because I can still use all the above) but I now need other cheap & cheerful ideas. I wasn't going to do favours at all but as our guests are travelling such a long way I thought that a little thankyou would be nice. Don't want to do lotto tix or scratch cards as the chances of our guests winning are slim. I don't want to bet on any sort of race as neither of us agree with it from an animal rights POV. Ethical or ecological gifts would be great but as I say I would like our guests to get something tangible.

I have organza bags to fill so there is a start.

All ideas appreciated xxx

Not sure if I'm thinking too far out of the box here but what about these?

If you have any children coming you could get some fabric pens and ask them to draw a design on them.

    Or a packet of seeds?
Charity pin badges or trolley tokens?

We are having trolley token key rings.

    Hope that helps

  • Lovely ideas, I was thinking of perhaps RNLI or Cystic Fibrosis Trust pins but they don't seem to have them on their websites so I might have to put in a call, where did you get your trolley token keyrings they are a great idea.

    Thanks :)

Ive seen this before and thought it was lovely.

Home made fudge (its easy to make!!) squares (about 3 or 4 each) wrapped in celophane (from florist) and tied with a ribbon and also had a little label atached.

On label you could have your names and the date of the wedding :)
