Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway: Grab the Ads Competition

Competition opening/closing date & time:
· Competition opens each week for entries via PRTS, SMS, red button and online as stated in the Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway programme on ITV1 (the ‘programme’).
· Competition closes each week for entries via PRTS, SMS and red button at midday on the Monday following the programme, as stated in the programme. Entries made after the stated closing time will not be entered into the competition, but may still be charged.
· Competition closes each week for entries online via the www.itv.com websiteno less than three (3) working days following the end of the programme.

Method of Entry:
Entrants may enter the competition by:

· PRTS Phone - call 09012 930 930 and follow the instructions given. You may enter the competition via PRTS phone up to ten (10) times per household.
· SMS text to 63337 – send a SMS text with the keyword GRAB followed by A, B, C or D to indicate your answer to the question. You may enter the competition via SMS text up to ten (10) times per household.
· Red Button – Digital Satellite viewers can enter by pressing the red button and following the instructions on screen. You may enter the competition via Red Button up to ten (10) times per household.
· Online – go to the website at www.itv.com, and follow the on-screen instructions to enter the competition. You may enter the competition via the website up to thirty (30) times per household.

There is no email, postal, or red button entry for cable viewers available for this competition.

Cost of Entry:
· Each PRTS call costs £1.00 (one pound) from BT landlines. Calls from other networks and mobiles may be higher depending on the telephone provider's own tariffs and charges.
· Each SMS text message costs £1.00 (one pound) plus one (1) standard network rate reply message. The total cost will therefore be dependent on your mobile network.
· Each red button entry costs £1.00 (one pound).
· There is no charge for entries via the website but your internet service provider’s fees may apply.

The Promoter endeavours to donate to charity a minimum of 60p (sixty pence) for each paid entry. Details of the relevant charities are at posted at www.itv.com/takeaway.

Entries made beyond the maximum number of entries for each method of entry as stated, or entries made after closing time, or received by the Promoter after the closing time, will not be entered into the competition, but may still be charged. Entries which are incomplete, incorrect, misspelt, inaudible, incomprehensible, or not received by the Promoter are void but may still be charged.

Competition entry question:
Eligible entrants are required to answer the multiple choice question as stated in the programme. Entrants who have answered the question correctly will be entered into a draw to participate in the Grab the Ads game, (the ‘game’) during the programme the following week.

Participation Process:

After the deadline for entries has passed each week, a shortlist of 100 potential participants will be selected at random from all correct and valid entries (each a “Shortlisted Entrant”). Shortlisted Entrants will be contacted on the Thursday or Friday following the programme to verify their entry. He/she will be phoned back on the daytime contact telephone number they provided when entering the competition, or for SMS entrants, they will be phoned back on the number from which they texted their entry. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the competition has been made. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact Shortlisted Entrants. If such Shortlisted Entrant either fails to answer the call or if the person contacted is not the Shortlisted Entrant, or is ineligible, or if any incorrect information or contact details are given or if for any other reason successful contact with the Shortlisted Entrant is not made, or the Shortlisted Entrant does not agree to participate on air in the programme such Shortlisted Entrants entry shall be void and the Promoter reserves the right to randomly select another eligible entrant to be a Shortlisted Entrant. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to contact an entrant for participation in the programme and/or in a game.

Shortlisted Entrants agree to participate in the game on the programme on the phone live on air during the programme. It is the responsibility of a Shortlisted Entrant to be available by phone, and also to be watching the programme at the same time on the date as specified by the Promoter in order to play the game on the programme.

During the programme, the name of each Shortlisted Entrant will be displayed on a screen and a Shortlisted Entrant will be selected at random, and contacted by the Promoter during the programme. If at that time such Shortlisted Entrant either fails to answer the call promptly, or if the line is engaged, or if the person contacted is not the Shortlisted Entrant, or if for any other reason successful contact with the Shortlisted Entrant is not made, or the Shortlisted Entrant does not agree to participate on air in the programme, such failure shall result in forfeiture of the prize.

If a Shortlisted Entrant has provided a mobile phone contact number and the signal is poor or there is interference on the line, such Shortlisted Entrant will be asked for a landline number where they can be contacted. If the extent of interference on the line means that the call cannot be transmitted on the programme in the Promoter’s sole discretion, and the Shortlisted Entrant cannot provide a suitable alternative landline number at that time, such failure shall result in forfeiture of the prize. Shortlisted Entrants acknowledge and agree to comply with any directions given to them by the Promoter including, without limitation, in regard to conformity with the Ofcom Programme Code.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise reasonably beyond its control.

The Promoter does not guarantee that all Shortlisted Entrants will participate in the game on the programme, nor does the Promoter represent, undertake or warrant that it will broadcast any episode of the programme which may or may not include a Shortlisted Entrant’s participation in the game and/or the programme.

Prize:
The winner of the prize is the Shortlisted Entrant who has successfully participated in the game on the programme. The prize is as indicated in the programme. The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider, the organizer, and manufacturer where applicable. Restrictions and exclusions may apply, including but not limited to delivery restrictions, blackout dates, access and age restrictions. Where applicable, it is the responsibility of the winner to take up the prize within the time specified by the Promoter and/or prize provider. Failure to take up the prize as specified may result in forfeiture of the prize. Where the prize involves travel, the winner must ensure they are available on the relevant dates, and hold the required travel documentation and comply with, and observe all instructions given to them by the Promoter, the organizer, and/or prize provider to take up the prize. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages or losses incurred, or for any medical conditions aggravated or incurred by the winner and where applicable, their companion as a result of taking up the prize. The prize is non-changeable and non-transferable. Where applicable, no cash equivalent or prize alternative is available. The prize provider and/or organizer may vary any element of the prize. The winner, and where applicable, their companion must be aged 18 years or over, and may be required to provide proof of age and eligibility.

For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes all other associated costs or expenses, charges or taxes incurred, including but not limited to, any additional transportation, travelling expenses, parking costs, accommodation, hotel charges, meals, programmes, storage, delivery costs, insurance, and any other applicable costs, expenses, charges, and/or taxes which are not included in the prize, as stated by the Promoter. The Promoter endeavours to deliver the prize to the winner within 28 days of winner confirmation, unless specified otherwise. Failure to provide an address for delivery of the prize, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition terms and conditions, and elsewhere as applicable, or failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in forfeiture of the prize, and the Promoter will not be liable to such entrant, Shortlisted Entrant, and/or prize winner, or to any other person in such event.
