Made me smile. Looks like market is uncertain even in Toyland these days.
(BTW listing is nothing to do with me, I'm trying to find a present for my god-daughter)
But considering how tiny it is, HOW EXPENSIVE?!!? There are houses going for a thousand quid. For a doll?

The thing is, with restricted supply of dolls houses and all these foreign dolls coming over here driving demand I think dolls houses are going to get a lot more expensive.
I'm going to start a series of seminars about how to make your fortune by renting dolls houses to people.0 -

First time buyers desperate for a place to stay have just come to realise that a Dolls House just isn't the answer and are selling them off in their droves.

The trouble is, dolls these days want it all - a lovely house AND brand new exquisitely detailed sets of miniature furniture. In my day, dolls were happy to live in a cardboard box with holes cut out for windows, and furniture made from old matchsticks. If you had a stamp on the wall as a portrait of the Queen you felt you were lucky.
And anyway, dolls' house prices won't come down - their nine year old girl owners are in it for the long term!:rotfl:'Never keep up with Joneses. Drag them down to your level. It's cheaper.' Quentin Crisp0 -
Is there any chance of you starting a separate thread on how much you should offer for the dolls' house; I'd really like the chance to tell you that the price of dolls' houses are going to crash and how civil breakdown will ensue?0

No, not a separate thread! You'll have dolls house price crash threads starting up all over the forum. Admin needs to keep things tidy and all dolls house price crash comments should be kept on one thread, preferable a sticky at the top of the board. Is there any chance of you starting a separate thread on how much you should offer for the dolls' house; I'd really like the chance to tell you that about how the price of dolls' houses are going to crash and how civil breakdown will ensue?
A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
