Transfer out and back in??

I have two cards (Virgin & Cap One) both now on full interest from this month..

The Virgin card will allow me to Bal Transfer at 0% for a year.

Can I transfer the balance from Virgin -> Capital One (Lumping full debt into one)
Then a day later transfer the lot from Capital One -> Virgin at 0%??

In theory yes.
It will depend on the card limits and whether you can get the Virgin balance on to the Capital One card.
You are also looking at Balance Transfer fees for doing this,one fee for sending the balance from Virgin to CO (whatever CO's fee is.Is it 1.7%?) and then a 2.98% fee from CO back to Virgin.
Virgin(MBNA) allow BT's to bank accounts so this maybe a useful tool so just keep that in mind.
One other point is how long is there left on the 0% offer period?
As you will incur two lots of fees this may not be the right move if you only have a few months left at 0%,if this is the case then really you should look for another 0% card with a longer period .
