    Before you send your letter, please try and make it a little more readable by adding some more paragraphs. Also, please check your dates as you go from 29th February to 4th March, then back to 4th February. I appreciate you're very worried and angry, but try and ensure you get your point across.

    Practically, open a basic bank account elsewhere, ensuring it's not at a bank in the same group as the Halifax and arrange for all your money to go in there instead so that you can choose when and how much to pay the Halifax.
