paypal fees

Do people generally charge Paypal fees? I don't want to get stung on Paypal fees as I'm trying to raise money for my wedding? Will buyers mind if you do this? I want to sell books from 25p to 99p this weekend. Does anyone put a price on for packing? Sorry for all the questions but I really want to avoid being out of pocket.

Thanks in advance.

    BG NOTE

I've moved your post to a new thread as you'll get more responses.

However, you can't actually charge the buyers an obvious fee for using paypal, you need to put it in with the item cost so for instance instead of listing books at 25p, list them at 50p instead.

As for packing, then yes that can be included in he post and packing charges that you show. However, before you do that check out similar auctions and make sure your charges are in line with what others charge. If others charge say £1.80 for post and packing on a paperback then don't go too much higher..

Watch final value fees on media items as well as they can be very high!

We always add eBay FVF's & Paypal Fee's to the P&P price (we class it as a P&P & Handling Charge), as eBay charge a percentage on FVF's it is impossible to add it to the item price & why should you pay eBay a percentage of the Paypal Fee

this is it,again when people complain on postage.
ebay themselves state P&P includes all sellers fee's (IIRC) so your P&P can cover post, packaing and fee's

I wish they would make it more obvious to buyers that P&P also includes seller handling costs such as FVF & Paypal fee's.
