Could this be right?

Ive just done the switch on my gas and electric.. and put my actual readings on the NPower website then a few days later i got a bill of £424 :eek: Which was a bit of a shock..

Now ive gone through my bills and ive worked out that i used about 300 cf between Jul 06 and Jul 07.. But between Jul 07 and now ive used just over 500 cf .. So ive used almost double the units in 8 months that i used in a whole year

Now i live alone in a 2 bed terrace, the only things that use gas is the condensing boiler and my gas hob everything else runs on electric nothing has changed since i had the low usage year apart from maybe using my gas hob a little bit more and i changed my washer for a coldfill one

Any ideas would be most grateful
